Butter paneer masala |
INGREDIENTS :
- BUTTER
- PANEER-150 GMS11 (soaked in warm water)
- ONION -2 NOS (chopped)
- TOMATO- 3 NOS (chopped)
- CASHEWNUTS- 1/2 CUP
- KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER-3 TO 4 TSP
- GARAM MASALA- 1 TO 2 TSP
- GINGER GARLIC PASTE-1 TSP
- GREEN CARDAMON- 3 TO 4
- FRESH CREAM - 50 ML
- DRY FENUGREEK LEAVES-2 to 3 TSP
- HONEY-1 TO 2 TSP
- OIL-3 TO 4 TSP
- CORIANDER LEAVES
- SALT TO TASTE
- COLOR (if required)
PREPARATION:
To make butter paneer masala
In a pan add oil ,onion ,tomato and cashew nuts fry till it becomes soft and then make a paste of itand strain it you get a silky smooth paste.
Next in a different pan add butter , ginger garlic paste , kashmiri red chili powder you can add more because it is not spicy.
Add color if required because Kashmiri red chili powder will have color in it.
Add the onion tomato, cashew nut silky smooth paste let it cook for half n hour In between keep on stirring so that it doesn't stick to the pan . now add some water according to the thickness .
Next add salt, gram masala, dry fenugreek leaves, green cardamom and fresh cream cook for 5-10min .
Soak paneer in a warm water so that it becomes soft before half n hour. Strain it and add to the masala .
Dont cook it more than 5min as it has already become soft. now add honey to it . garnish it wil some coriander leaves , fresh cream and butter.
